Environmental & Sustainability Policy

At Caterclean Supplies, our commitment to a sustainable environment is motivated by our responsibility to future generations. We feel this is an essential obligation that will only increase in importance.

Our Environmental Policy is an organisation-wide commitment that governs the environmental standards we adhere to, how we identify and control impacts associated with our operations and products, and how we monitor, measure and improve our performance in these areas.

Some of our key environmental objectives are: ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations, to uphold the 3R's principle at all times: Reduce, Re-use and Recycle, to improve waste flow management practices, to promote products from sustainable sources, to work with suppliers and customers to lower carbon footprint, and to carry out annual sustainability assessments.

Ethical & Social Policy

At Caterclean Supplies we are committed to maintaining a high standard of social responsibility.

We strive to create a culture of care with our employees, suppliers and customers, and we regularly monitor our working conditions to ensure the compliance of regulations and that our standards are adhered to.

The health and safety of employees is actively managed, and includes the provision of adequate personal protective equipment, job training, escape routes, fire-fighting equipment, ventilation, safety training, first aid materials, clean toilets, washing facilities and drinking water.

Every employee is entitled to a working environment that promotes dignity and respect to all. No form of intimidation, bullying or harassment will be tolerated. At Caterclean Supplies we insist on a culture of respect for our customers, our suppliers, our colleagues and our property.

Health & Safety Policy

Caterclean Supplies has prepared a Health and Safety Policy with guidance provided by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The General Policy Statement confirms the commitment of the Company to comply with current legislation.

The Policy also provides such information as is necessary to assist those persons using it to fulfil their obligations.

It is the responsibility of all employees, together with Company Management, to ensure that our working environment is safe, without significant risks, and meets the appropriate statutory requirements. It is recognised that all levels of management and employees have a vital role in the implementation and maintenance of our health and safety programme.

It is our policy to reduce accidents, injuries and work-related ill health to the lowest level practicable. Where hazards exist we will evaluate, control, and bring these to the attention of our employees. We all have a legal duty to co-operate in all safety related matters, not to endanger ourselves or others, and not to misuse anything provided for safety. In particular, all persons are to ensure that appropriate safety rules are followed.

Risk assessments, audits and general inspections will be undertaken at regular intervals by those trained to do so. This will enable management to identify significant hazards and plan for their elimination, reduction and control.
